ALALP is an exciting leadership development initiative for mid-career managers and officials drawn from business, government, trade unions, education, the arts, and community organisations.
This second ALALP, scheduled to be staged in Australia form 3 to 14 October 2013, plans to bring together 48 successful applications identified through an open and public selection process with 24 participants being drawn from Australia and 24 from Latin America.
Applications for this important leadership development initiative will be sought over a 2-3 month period commencing Monday 26 November 2012. Information on how to apply including an application form will be available on ALALP web site www.alalp.com.
Successful and unsuccessful applicants are expected to be notified of the outcome of their applications by mid April 2013.
Having “Sustainability in the Context of the Australia Latin America Business Relationship” as the theme for this year's ALALP, the chosen emerging leaders must have a clear vision and well developed leadership skills on how to address the international challenges of globalization, interdependence and financial instability. At the same time, these are leaders seeking to preserve the values that bind their people, their communities and their countries.
